SeamUp Academy Policies
At SeamUp Academy, we are dedicated to providing a safe, supportive, and professional environment for all players, coaches, and parents. Our policies are designed to ensure fairness, transparency, and the highest standards of conduct across all aspects of our coaching programs. Below, you will find an overview of our key policies.
1. Code of Conduct
All participants at SeamUp Academy, including players, coaches, and parents, are expected to uphold the highest standards of sportsmanship, integrity, and respect. To read our full Code of Conduct, please click here.
2. Health & Safety
The safety and well-being of our players are our top priorities. We adhere to strict health and safety protocols, including first aid preparedness, injury management procedures, and compliance with all relevant regulations. Players and parents are encouraged to report any safety concerns to the academy staff immediately.
3. Child Protection Policy
SeamUp Academy is committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for young athletes. Our child protection policy aligns with national safeguarding guidelines, ensuring that all coaches and staff are trained in child safety best practices. Any concerns related to child welfare should be reported confidentially to our safeguarding officer.
4. Training & Attendance
Regular attendance and commitment to training sessions are essential for player development. If a player is unable to attend a session, we request prior notification. If no notice is given to cancel a session at least 2 hours before the start time, the full session fee will be charged. Coaches will ensure that sessions are conducted in a structured, inclusive, and engaging manner to maximise learning and skill development.
5. Anti-Discrimination & Inclusion
We promote an inclusive and welcoming environment for players of all backgrounds, skill levels, and abilities. Discrimination, harassment, or bullying of any kind will not be tolerated. Our academy upholds a strict zero-tolerance policy in this regard.
6. Equipment & Uniform
Players are expected to wear appropriate training gear and use the correct cricket equipment during all sessions. The academy provides guidance on equipment requirements and maintains a policy for the care and responsible use of academy-owned gear.
7. Social Media & Communications
All communications between players, parents, and coaches should be respectful and appropriate. Coaches will use official channels for communication, and parents are encouraged to follow our social media guidelines when engaging with academy-related content online.
